Dumpster Rental Software in 2026: The 9 Best Tools Compared, With Real Prices
The short version: dumpster software has to track cans, price by size and days, and dispatch a roll-off truck
For a junk removal company renting out a couple of dump trailers, the cheapest real tool is the one it already runs, Jobber Core at $29 or QuoteIQ at $29.99, with a can tracked as a line item. For a roll-off startup with five to twenty cans the dumpster-specific picks are Bin Boss at a flat $99 a month, iCANS at $99, and Reservety at $59 for online booking. The route-scale tools, Docket, ServiceCore and Hauler Hero, publish no prices. The only tool on this list built to get you found on Google is ServicePro, which is free.
Here is the whole field, with prices taken from each vendor's own page on September 5, 2026.
| Tool | Cheapest plan | Priced by | Built for roll-offs? | Gets you found on Google? |

Every tool above except ServicePro manages the can after the customer has booked. The section after the reviews covers the other half: how a local hauler gets found against the national brokers, which none of the nine do.
What dumpster software has to do that junk removal software does not
Junk removal is a truck and a crew; dumpster rental is an asset business. A can is delivered, sits for five to ten days on a standard rental, gets hauled to the transfer station, weighed, and comes back to the yard, and the company's margin lives in knowing where every can is, how many days it has been there, and what it weighed. LoadUp's August 2026 guide puts a residential rental at $294 to $480, about $385 on average, with 10-yard cans at $220 to $580 a week, 20-yard at $280 to $700, and extensions at $10 to $25 a day.
The features that matter, in the order they protect the margin:
- Can inventory. Every can by size and number, where it is, since when, and when it is due back. A can nobody can find is a week of revenue lost.
- Pricing by size, days and weight. The base rental with the included tonnage, the per-day extension, the overage per ton from the scale ticket, and the prohibited-item fee, applied automatically.
- Online booking with the address. Size picker with photos, date, the driveway check, a card, done at 9pm.
- Roll-off dispatch. Deliveries, swaps and pickups on one board, with the truck's day built around the transfer station's hours.
- Scale tickets to invoices. The weight from the landfill onto the customer's bill without retyping.
- Driver app with photos. The placement photo protects you from the driveway claim; the pickup photo proves the load.
- Payments and the card on file for the extension and the overage.
What haulers are commonly upsold and rarely need in year one: route optimisation for trash routes they do not run, a portable-toilet module, and a per-truck price on a two-truck fleet.
Jobber and QuoteIQ: for the junk company adding dump trailers
Most companies enter this trade sideways, as a junk removal company that buys a dump trailer and rents it as a driveway-friendly dumpster. "Dump trailer rental" is searched 33,100 times a month at a click price of $1.94, against $8.36 for "dumpster rental near me", which is a cheap way in. The tool for that stage is the one the junk side already runs.
Jobber, from its pricing page: Core is $29 a month on annual billing for one user, Connect is $99 for one user and $149 for five, and Grow is $149 for one and $229 for five. A trailer is a product with a daily rate, a delivery is a job, the pickup is a second job, and the card on file covers the extension. Our Jobber pricing guide has every tier.
QuoteIQ, from its pricing page: Essentials is $29.99 a month, Beginner is $74.99 with the Review Multiplier, Pro is $149.99, Elite is $299, Max is $699. It markets to dumpster rental companies and publishes its own dumpster software listicles, and its price-list quoting and text-based booking fit a trailer fleet.
Best for: one to four trailers alongside a junk truck. What to know: neither tracks a can as an asset with days-out and weight, so past about five containers the spreadsheet comes back, and that is the moment to move to a dumpster tool. Our junk removal software roundup covers the truck side.
Bin Boss, iCANS and Reservety: flat-price tools for a small roll-off fleet
Bin Boss prices one way: a flat $99 a month, no per-user fees, month to month, the same whether you run 3 dumpsters or 50, with no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. Can tracking, dispatch and billing for a company that wants one number.
iCANS, from its pricing page: Base is $99 a month and Plus is $159, both month to month with unlimited drivers and unlimited orders, no setup fee, a seven-day trial without a card, and card and ACH processing billed separately per transaction. Plus adds text notifications up to 1,000 a month. Built by haulers, and priced so a five-can startup pays the same as a fifty-can one.
Reservety, from its pricing page: Starter is $59 a month for two staff accounts, Professional is $99 for fifteen, a Hibernation plan at $15 a month keeps the site up in the off-season, and Reservety charges no commission on rentals, with the payment processor's own fee on top. It is a general rental platform with a dumpster template rather than a hauler's dispatch tool, and its strength is the online booking.
Best for: Bin Boss or iCANS for a five- to thirty-can company that wants can tracking and dispatch for a flat $99; Reservety for a company whose problem is the 9pm booking rather than the yard. What to know: none of the three has a website that ranks or a local search product, and Reservety's dispatch is lighter than the other two.
Dumpster Rental Systems, Docket, ServiceCore and Hauler Hero: the priced-on-request tier
Dumpster Rental Systems publishes prices, and its pricing page refused our request on September 5, 2026. The page's own search listing shows Launch at $79.95 a month, an essentials tier with online booking and reporting and without routing, up to Pro at $279.95 for fleets past twenty cans. Confirm on the page before comparing.
Docket, from its pricing page: three plans, Grow, Pro and Pro Plus, each priced by demo. What the page does state: 500 messages a month on Grow and 1,000 on the higher tiers, payment fees of 3.0% plus 30 cents on Grow and 2.8% plus 30 cents above, and the IronRouteAI routing tool on Pro Plus. Third-party comparisons describe the pricing as per truck; get the all-in number in writing.
ServiceCore's pricing page is a demo request, and it covers roll-offs and portable toilets together. Hauler Hero publishes no prices and is built for commercial and residential trash routes first, with roll-offs as the second product.
Best for: a hauler with trash routes, a yard and a dispatcher, where the route tools earn their price. What to know: a five-can startup on a per-truck or quoted plan is paying for a fleet it does not have, and the flat-price tools above do the can tracking for $99.
The half none of these cover: showing up against the brokers
All nine tools above start working after the customer has booked. When a homeowner needs a can they search "dumpster rental near me", 165,000 times a month with peaks of 201,000 in March and from August to October, and the top of the page is the national brokers who own no cans and resell yours, plus the waste majors. A local company wins in the map pack, on a price by size on the page, and on the job-type pages the brokers do not write: the roofing tear-off can, the estate cleanout, the junk removal versus dumpster comparison that the same customer is weighing, and the dump trailer page for the driveway that cannot take a roll-off.
Some of the tools gesture at this. QuoteIQ sells a site builder, Jobber includes a basic site, Reservety hosts a booking site. None of them tracks whether you rank against the broker in the towns the truck covers, builds the job-type and town pages that earn map placement, or posts the placement photo to your Google profile for you.
Where ServicePro fits
ServicePro covers the getting-found side, and it is designed to sit alongside whichever dispatch tool you pick from the list above. We do not track cans, weigh loads or dispatch the roll-off truck, so there is nothing to migrate.
The free plan builds a full website from your Google Business Profile in about five minutes, on your own domain, with up to five service pages (10, 20, 30 and 40-yard cans and dump trailers, each with the price, the included days and the tonnage on it), a booking page the yard sign's QR code opens, an inbox where the "will it fit in my driveway" photo arrives, a review widget with five review requests a month, and no per-lead fees at any volume.
Pro is $99 a month with no contract, and adds Google Map rank tracking for "dumpster rental near me" across every town the truck covers, so you can see where the broker outranks you, up to 25 location pages, a tracked phone number with two-way texting and missed-call text-back for the contractor calling from a job site, 100 automatic review requests a month with AI-drafted replies, and posts written and published for you to your Google Business Profile and to Facebook and Instagram. The junk removal page shows what the site and the rank tracking look like for the hauling trades.
How to choose, by the cans you own
- A junk truck and one to four dump trailers. Jobber Core at $29 or QuoteIQ Essentials at $29.99, with the trailer as a product and the card on file, plus ServicePro free for the dump trailer page and the price by size.
- Five to thirty roll-off cans, one truck. Bin Boss at $99 flat or iCANS at $99, plus ServicePro Pro at $99 for the rank tracking against the brokers and the tracked texting number.
- Online booking is the problem. Reservety at $59, with the Hibernation plan at $15 in winter, plus ServicePro.
- Trash routes plus roll-offs, a yard and a dispatcher. Docket, ServiceCore or Hauler Hero with the number in writing, or Dumpster Rental Systems' Pro tier once the page confirms the price, plus ServicePro for the map pack in every town.
Whichever you pick, put the price by size and the included days on the website, take the card at booking, and photograph every placement. Those three habits protect more margin than any tier above them.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best software for a dumpster rental business?
For a junk removal company renting dump trailers, the tool it already runs, Jobber Core at $29 or QuoteIQ at $29.99, with the trailer as a product. For a five- to thirty-can roll-off fleet, Bin Boss at a flat $99 a month or iCANS at $99 with unlimited drivers and orders. Reservety at $59 is the online-booking pick. Docket, ServiceCore and Hauler Hero are route-scale tools priced by quote.
How much does dumpster rental software cost?
From $29 to $29.99 a month on Jobber and QuoteIQ, $59 to $99 on Reservety, a flat $99 on Bin Boss, $99 to $159 on iCANS, and $79.95 to $279.95 on Dumpster Rental Systems per its own listing. Docket, ServiceCore and Hauler Hero publish no prices. Getting found against the brokers is a separate line: ServicePro is free, or $99 a month with rank tracking.
Can junk removal software run a dumpster rental business?
Up to about five containers, yes: a trailer or can is a product with a daily rate, delivery and pickup are two jobs, and the card on file covers the extension. Past that, the business needs can tracking with days-out and weight from the scale ticket, which is what Bin Boss, iCANS and the route tools add.
Does dumpster rental software get you customers?
No. Every tool on this list starts working after the customer has booked. "Dumpster rental near me" is searched 165,000 times a month and the top results are national brokers reselling local cans; ranking against them takes a map-pack presence, a price by size on the page and the job-type pages the brokers do not write. That is what ServicePro does alongside the dispatch tool.
